Lyrics
Two years done come and gone and you're still satisfied
Hangin' round and going out- I'm always by your side
Ring me on the telephone whenever you're in need
A shoulder and a friendly ear but there's so much more to me
You're lookin' all around but baby I'm right here
If you wanna talk love with me
Baby I'm all ears
Late night heart to hearts about some other guy
I know exactly what you've been through- I hear about it every night
When we hit the town sometimes I can see them catch your eye
And I can overhear you say to them "He's just a friend of mine"
Don't say I'm just a friend 'cause I don't want to hear
But if you wanna talk love with me
Baby I'm all ears
Two years done come and gone and I'm not satisfied
It's time that I was moving on- I'm tired of wasting time
You can call anytime 'cause honey I'm not here
But if you wanna talk love with me
Baby I'm all ears
If you wanna talk love with me
Baby I'm all ears

Notes and Quotes
-
Originally slated as the opening song for the second Steeze Kings project "Radio Logic".
-
"It's not really about fault- it's just two people out of synch. It happens. I wanted to get across that the guy was hurting and knew it was time to cut it off but that he wasn't pointing fingers. He's all ears if she's in a different place down the line- just don't expect him to sit around and wait.
Since the lyrics were about moving forward I wanted to show a musical progression through time as well, updating and older R&B/ soul style into something more modern." - Mik
